POA CIRC NI 002: AREA CHAIR NI ELECTION - TIMETABLE

Ivor Dunne, Area Chair, Northern Ireland completes his current term of office on 31 December 2026. Nominations are therefore invited to take up the post of Area Chair, Northern Ireland Chair from 1 January 2027 until 31 December 2031.

As per Rule 25 of the POA Rules and Constitution, the timetable for the election will be:

Nominations Open Monday 19 October 2026

Nominations Close Friday 6 November 2026

Only one nomination per Branch for the post will go forward for election. If more than one nomination is received, a branch meeting will be convened two days after the close of nominations on Tuesday 10 November 2026 so that one nominee can go forward.

Election Commences Monday 16 November 2026

Election Closes Friday 27 November at 12:30hrs
