SCOTLAND: RE: POA SCOTLAND ELECTIONS, SNC MEMBER, SNC TREASURER

There are 2 Scottish National Committee posts due for election this year.  These will be five-year posts with the successful candidates taking up office at the close of play of Annual Conference May 2024. The term of office will run until May 2029.

The current incumbents, William Reid (Treasurer) and Mark Meikle have both intimated it is their intention to seek re-election to the posts.

In accordance with the attached timeline, we ask that candidates declare their intention to stand for the above post by email to adminscot@poauk.org.uk by close of nominations on Friday 23^rd February 2024, and that branches forward their candidate nominations by email to adminscot@poauk.org.uk by 5pm Wednesday 7^th March 2024.

There is a step-by-step process and timeline attached for ease of reference, along with brief explanatory notes for each of those steps.
