CIRC 069: SUPPORTING WOMEN IN THE WORKPLACE WORKSHOP

The above workshop will be held from Tuesday 28^th to Thursday 30^th November 2023 at the Quorn Grange Hotel, Wood Lane, Quorn, Loughborough.

The purpose of the workshop is to establish what concerns our female members face and to ensure we address those concerns with HMPPS and the relevant employing bodies

The following topics will be discussed although the list is not exhaustive.

IVF
Managing the menopause and periods on duty
The Role of TUBU
Maternity
Women and the POA
Sexual harassment
Reasonable adjustments
Gender based risk assessments.

A variety of guest speakers have been invited.

The workshop will be residential with registration taking place from 10:00 to 11.00 on Tuesday 28^th November and finishing at lunchtime on 30^th November 2023.

Accommodation and meal costs will be met by the POA. Facility time will be granted by HMPPS. HMPPS will also cover travel and subsistence expenses, which can be claimed via SOP.

Facility time will be requested in the normal way for non HMPPS members.
