CIRC 076: LONG TERM SICK OPT INTO F&S.

It has come to the attention of the NEC that members who are currently or have been on long term sick were being refused to opt into F&S by the Employer. 

We raised this issue with the Employer who have now reversed that decision, if you have members who are in this position the Employer has given the union the undertaking that they will be written to this week at their home address to be offered the opt in, the window will be extended to allow this to happen.

Could you contact those members to make sure that has in fact taken place.
