CIRC 035: SAVE THE DATE: 18 JUNE 2022 MARCH AND RALLY, LONDON

I refer to POA Circulars 21/2022 and 27/2022. As previously stated, the TUC has booked Parliament Square on Saturday 18 June for a march and rally, as part of the campaign for a pay rise, for action on the cost of living and for a new deal for working people.

I am now able to give more information regarding the day’s events.

CONFIRMED MARCH TIMINGS AND LOCATIONS

  • Form up at Portland Place (outside New Broadcasting House) from 10.30am
  • March departs 12pm
  • Rally commences 1pm in Parliament Square
  • Rally finishes 2.30pm

Working people have had enough. Everything’s going up but our wages.

It’s time for a new deal for working people. We need help with energy bills and a real pay rise for every worker. Let’s take matters into our own hands – and get out on the streets.

On 18 June, in London, let’s tell this government: we DEMAND better.

Can I take this opportunity to thank you in advance for your help and support for this Campaign.

Yours sincerely

STEVE GILLAN
General Secretary
