CIRC 084: POA PODCASTS

As you are aware the POA have been making a concerted effort to improve communications with members.

The new POA website has been live for several months and is proving to be an effective recruitment tool and feedback to date around the easier to use mobile compatible platform has been very encouraging.

As part of the drive to make more digital content available the POA have also joined forces with Simon Sapper podcast producer.

To date a series of podcasts have been produced and are available on most podcast platforms including Spotify, YouTube, Anchor, Breaker, Google, Radio Public, just search POA Podcast or you can visit the podcast page on the new look POA website.

This month’s podcast is titled ‘Finlay Spratt looks back on 30 years of POA service’ and features the former Northern Ireland POA Chairman Finlay Spratt and June Robinson, they discuss some of the turbulent times faced by prison officers in Northern Ireland and the work done to support the families of murdered and injured prison officers in Northern Ireland.
