CIRC 103: MERLIN MEMBERSHIP DATABASE SELF-SERVICE – BRANCH SECRETARIES

Continuing with our IT improvement programme where the POA have been evolving our services we provide for members, the POA are starting to roll out the self-service module of our membership system.

Over the next three weeks, our Branch Secretaries will be invited to login to the self-service module and review their own membership details and if required update their personal membership records.

Once the Branch Secretaries have logged in, they will also be able to see who the members are in their establishment or setting. Only LIVE members will be shown in the members list, so we ask you the Branch Secretaries to review this list and inform membership@poauk.org.uk  for England & Wales, NI, and adminscot@poauk.org.uk  for Scotland of any anomalies.

Full details of the above process will be included in the invite to individual Branch Secretaries.

Following the completion of this exercise, we will be requesting that Branch Secretaries contact their members to ask them if they would like access to the self-service module and to confirm their email addresses. Upon receipt of the email address, the membership system will be updated, and the members will be sent their login details.

Self Service access for general members will be rolled out towards the end of December and throughout January.
