It is with great regret that Ann-Marie tragically passed away very suddenly. She was a long term POA member serving at both Drake Hall and Stoke Heath.

A JustGiving page has been set up with the aim of raising £3000 for the families chosen charity Parkinson’s UK. The link for the JustGiving page can be found below;

In the words of her partner Jeff Lane also long term POA member he states the following;

“My beautiful partner Ann-Marie very suddenly and very sadly passed away earlier this year and together we had planned a challenge of cycling from Lands End to John O’Groats (LEJOG) with myself cycling and Ann-Marie coaxing me along in the support vehicle. Obviously this cannot happen now but I want to try and complete LEJOG in loving memory of Ann-Marie and also for the charity Parkinson’s UK which is our families nominated charity. I hopefully intend to complete this challenge over 10 days which means between 80-90 miles each day starting 25th June 2021 and ending 4th July 2021 and my daughter Alexandra will now be driving the support vehicle”.

I am sure everyone in the POA family will rally round to assist Jeff Lane in this challenge for raising money for the Parkinson’s UK charity. The POA Welfare fund will also be considering how we can assist Jeff Lane at this distressing time.

Yours sincerely

General Secretary
