The nomination process ended on Friday 9th October 2020 and POA Circular 138/20 was promulgated with those nominations for each of the 4 candidates. An appeal was received by Hollesley Bay branch and after investigation there was clear evidence that the nomination had indeed been received within the stated time frame so the candidate Jackie Marshall will have her nominations amended. Christine Miller didn’t have any nominating branches so therefore as per POA Rules and Constitution her candidacy will not go forward for the election process.

Election addresses had to be at Cronin House by noon on Friday 16th October 2020. Prior to that timing Mr Ricki McNeil, a potential candidate wrote informing me that he no longer wished to be considered as a candidate in this election. Two candidates will go forward for the postal ballot for the position of National Chair those being Mark Fairhurst and Jackie Marshall

Yours Sincerely

General Secretary
