CIRC 71: HONORARY LIFE MEMBERS AND RETIRED MEMBERS

We are sure that most Honorary Life Members and Retired Members will be keeping a close watch on the information that the POA are putting out during this COVID-19 pandemic. The POA NEC recognise it is important to keep all our members up to date and ensure that everyone is looked after as best we can during these unprecedented times.

Honorary Life Members and their families are important to the POA as are those Retired Members and their families. We do not want you to suffer in silence and if you need any assistance whatsoever during these difficult times please do not hesitate in contacting the POA. Honorary Life Members and indeed those in our Retired Members Section are extremely valued and if there is any way we can assist anyone then do not be afraid to contact us even if it is just for a conversation.

Our Honorary Life Members and Retired Members have given a lifetime to the Prison Service and our Secure Psychiatric Hospitals and are held in the highest regard for their outstanding contribution to the POA.

These are extremely uncertain times and nobody knows when this will end or what indeed the future holds, but one thing can be assured the POA will be there for you as Honorary Life Members and indeed Retired members.

We hope that you and your families remain safe and healthy.

Yours Sincerely

STEVE GILLAN
General Secretary

Yours Sincerely
