Further to circular 16/21, we are pleased to report that we have some new Union Learning Representatives who will be participating in the STUC ULR course soon.  We are reinvigorating Union Learning within the POAS and recently met with STUC to investigate what support and resources are available for union officials to access training to support their membership.

As mentioned in our last general update we are keen to continue this communication source, so we hope the following is helpful.

It is with great regret that Ann-Marie tragically passed away very suddenly. She was a long term POA member serving at both Drake Hall and Stoke Heath.

As you will be aware over the last 18 months, we have been working on evolving our Information Technology systems and the corporate image of the POA.

The TUC has launched an online survey for workers who are experiencing or have experienced Long Covid. We want to better understand their experiences at work and what additional workplace support they may need.
