Further to POA Circular 66/2022 the ballot period will run from 1st September to 20th September. 

Following pay submissions made to the NHS Pay Review Body, the Government has offered Agenda for Change staff approximately £1400 for all grades. 

Due to the increase in the amount of equipment which members are required to wear in the course of their duties, the Executive raised concerns with HMPPS regarding the potential for Musculoskeletal injuries surrounding the use of utility belts. The POA pointed out that;

As a consequence of Section 46 of the Offensive Weapons Act 2019 coming into force, there have been significant changes to the law as it relates to the possession of offensive weapons.
