PENSIONS YOUR OPPORTUNITY TO CHALLENGE

 As of today’s date, there are 3650 POA members who have registered their legal challenge against the relevant Minister and Employer on the decision to force them into a pension scheme which costs members more and enforces them to work longer.

The Executive urge all members and local committees to continue with your support and raise the number of claimants to over 4000 by ensuring all members and non- members are made aware of the content of this Circular.

To any member who has not completed their application to date the NEC would encourage you to please do so by visiting the POA website at:

The National Executive also encourage non-members to join the POA and submit their application also.

This challenge requires members to act, branch officials to engage at local level and encourage members to sign up. We need to know who is going to join in the case, and if you want to do so you must complete the questionnaire which will be on the union website until Wednesday 10th January 2018 12:00hrs.

Please promote this challenge by putting the attached notice up in your workplace this is your last opportunity to register your claim.
