Special Delegates Conference: Policies of the POA and "Without Prejudice" negotiations

At a specially convened National Executive Committee meeting held on the 1st September 2014, the Executive determined that a Special Delegates Conference would be called under our Rules and Constitution for branches in England and Wales. Secure Hospitals, Private Sector prisons and Immigration Centres along with branches in Scotland and Northern Ireland are not required on this occasion.

The date of the Special Delegates Conference will be Wednesday, 15th October 2014 and it will be held at the Hinckley Island Hotel, Watling Street (A5), Hinckley, Leicestershire, LE10 3JA

The reason those identified branches are not required is because under Rule 12.2, the issue in respect of the “without prejudice” negotiations pertaining to benchmarking does not affect those branches and countries.

Further information will be promulgated in due course with regards to the NEC motion explaining information, special leave, and facility time arrangements along with travel and subsistence claim forms.

Yours sincerely
