POA Survey

Dear Colleagues,

Following the promulgation of POA Circulars 158-2011,  the National Executive Committee are pleased to be in a position to publish the relevant information to allow members to complete the union’s survey in line with Annual Conference policy. I would like to apologise on behalf of the executive for the inordinate delay in achieving this position, but a number of technical problems have occurred outside their control.

Members can now complete the Membership Survey for 2011/12, by visiting the POA website at, www.poauk.org.uk  For ease members will find a link to the survey, included in the banner section at the top of the page, appearing after the Christmas banner, and in the Action Zone.

If members click on the banner, as it appears or the Action Zone link, they will redirect the member to the following screen:

Members should click the link:    survey

They will then see the login screen:

Account Name and Password option should be selected as shown above, and enter the following in the Account Name:

poauk and M3mberSh1p in the Password box

Dependant on how detailed members answers are it is anticipated that the survey could take approximately 20 to 30 minutes to complete. To help members can save the survey and revisit if they are unable to complete it in one visit.

It is not mandatory for member’s to give their home address in the personal details page but it will assist the union in collating and forwarding data to and from members.

It is vital that members complete the survey if the union is to be equipped with information to meet the challenges that lie ahead in 2012 and beyond.

I would be extremely grateful if you can draw the contents of this circular to all your members and actively campaign to ensure that everyone completes the survey as quickly as possible;

Thanking you in anticipation of your support and co-operation on this vital issue,

Yours Sincerely

Steve Gillan
