Medical Inefficiency Compensation Payments
In recent weeks we have received many enquiries with regards to compensation payments being withheld.
Having made enquires with Civil Service Pensions we have established that this was due to changes in taxation rules applying to compensation payments which required CSP to seek clarification on how these changes should be applied.
The enclosed EPN gives details on the changes and their application.
It should be noted that the changes only affect payment OVER £30k.
We would appreciate if branch secretaries could bring this notice to the attention of any members involved in the inefficiency process.
